The Company was founded with its first store in New York City in 1929 called Lady Rose Shops by Lewis Biblowitz, after a year of selling woman’s hosiery in a pushcart on the street. He named the store after his younger sister Rose. Years later, he brought his two brothers, Max & Joshua, into the business.

As the Biblowitz grew their retail store empire, they also developed a concession business which operated Apparel concessions in discount department stores, such as Modell’s, Time Square Stores (TSS), Fay Drugs, Laneco, Click Stores, Wisebuys Stores, National Wholesale Liquidators and many more stores throughout the United States.

In the 1960’s, Lady Rose Shops, while operating the ladies clothing concession in the Masters Department Stores in New York, purchased the Masters Stores entirely after Masters had filed for bankruptcy protection.  Lady Rose Shops renamed their Company to Masters, Inc.

In the 1970’s, Masters sold their stores to Modell’s and operated the clothing concessions for them. At the same time, Masters operated over 200 clothing concessions throughout the United States in discount department stores, hypermarkets, supermarkets & drugstore chains in addition to having their own, free-standing clothing stores.

In the late 1990’s, due to increased competition with Walmart, Kmart, Target, etc, many of the regional chains that Masters operated concessions in, closed. This drastically reduced the size of the Company & Masters had to reorganize. Thus, the concept of the Fashion Kraze stores were created.

Fashion Kraze began carrying branded clothing at discount prices. Because of their close association with the apparel industry makers for over 60 years, they we able to develop close ties with the name brand manufacturers. In these tough economic times, the Fashion Kraze concept is perfect for everywhere. The prices are LOW and the fashions & service are HI.

The first Fashion Kraze stores was opened in Farmingdale, NY, in 1999.  The Company is currently operated by the founders grandchildren, Steven & Richard Greenspan and their sister, Lisa Hayum.

Fashion Kraze stores consists of BRAND NAMES at DISCOUNT PRICES! The merchandise mix consists of Ladies, Men’s & children’s apparel & related accessories, shoes, domestics, toys & more.

We buy and Sell CLOSEOUT merchandise. We receive shipments of CLOSEOUT merchandise Daily.  Everything in our store can be seen for much more in other retailers.

We also has a buying service that supplies branded clothing to other retailers.
